KCA at Work
PRESENT SITES
Keep A Child Alive is currently funding 14 sites in 6 countries. These community-based organizations have the skills to provide HIV/AIDS care, but are impeded by lack of access to treatment and medical professionals. They often need the infrastructure to take their organization to another level. Frequently woman-run, they are unable to access funding from big organizations like PEPFAR and the Global Fund. We fill in that gap.
PAST SITES
Keep a Child Alive helps organizations scale up to where they can receive funding from bigger organizations. Past work in Ethiopia, Kenya, and South Africa has enabled these sites to become more established as centers of care. We are so proud to have played a part in their success.
THE BLACK BALL
Keep a Child Alive's annual fundraiser in New York generates all our operational costs for the year, and brings together the brightest stars of the entertainment industry to fight for life.
